Yoshi Gems is a Sri Lankan heritage gemstone and jewellery house founded on generations of family knowledge in the gem trade.
Our roots trace back to Ratnapura and Pelmadulla, Sri Lanka, where our family was involved in the gemstone industry before 1968. A key part of that history includes T. D Silva, our grandmother’s brother, who worked in the trade and operated underground gem mines. That experience and knowledge were passed down through the family, from one generation to the next, and now to us.
Today, we continue that legacy through carefully sourced gemstones and handmade jewellery shaped by authenticity, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for origin. Every piece reflects not only the beauty of the stone, but also the heritage behind it.
